It serves as a real-world application of my skills, from designing and deploying a secure cloud-based infrastructure to implementing best practices in cybersecurity.
My passion for Information Technology, particularly cloud computing and network security, has been shaped by hands-on experience. One of my most impactful projects involved setting up a domain and building a website using an AWS EC2 Linux web server. This endeavor required in-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure, web development, and cybersecurity, reinforcing my commitment to mastering emerging technologies.

I started with web development fundamentals, designing and structuring the front end using HTML and CSS while incorporating JavaScript to enhance interactivity. Ensuring a seamless user experience, I followed best coding practices and validated all implementations.
Deploying the website involved configuring an AWS EC2 Linux instance within a customized Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). I established security groups, a NAT Gateway, and precise networking rules to optimize security and performance. Additionally, I implemented AWS Route 53 for domain name resolution, assigned an elastic IPv4 address, and configured an Apache web server to host my website files.

Security was a top priority throughout the process. I installed a TLS certificate to enable HTTPS, safeguarded server access with encrypted SSH sessions, and configured Apache virtual hosts for efficient traffic management. These steps solidified my understanding of cloud security, server management, and secure deployments.
This hands-on experience strengthened my expertise in cloud architecture, networking, and cybersecurity. It also fueled my ambition to further my IT knowledge and pursue advanced learning opportunities. I am eager to tackle complex challenges in cloud computing and security while contributing to the ever-evolving world of technology.
